KEEN Debuts WK400 “Revolutionary” Walking Shoes
Road-tested with 10k miles worth of walking.
KEEN proudly presents its latest footwear release — the WK400, a.k.a “revolutionary walking shoes.” Known for its signature “ugly sandal,” the footwear brand has always dedicated its innovations with an emphasis on sustainability and originality.
About three years ago, the footwear label felt impelled to develop a pair of “revolutionary walking shoes.” The idea was first conceptualized when the brand discovered that Americans were walking on average one to five miles more every day during the peak of the pandemic, with nearly 80% of them wearing constantly wearing unsuitable footwear.
Having been in development for three years, the WK400 is finally ready to be made available to the public. Equipped with the brand’s brand-new KEEN.CURVE™ Technology, which uses plate technology, and constant curve geometry combined with high-energy midsoles to support natural movements. The foot is positioned in a constant arc during walking, and the WK400’s foundation platform and plates are contoured in a specific shape to provide a snug and supportive fit. As it’s also road-tested with 10k miles worth of walking, these shoes give off the feeling of a constant forward momentum that makes traversing the outdoors effortless.
The WK400 walking shoes come in five colorways, ranging from the essential black, light gray, and beige pink, to the more expressive royal blue and bright yellow. Head over to KEEN’s official website for more details on price and availability.
