Sporty & Rich x adidas Hits the Field for Second Collaboration Debut
Featuring three new colorways of the adidas Samba alongside vintage-inspired genderless apparel.
Los Angeles-based label Sporty & Rich continues to look toward the future and shows no signs of slowing down. While the brand began as a moodboard put together by founder Emily Oberg, Sporty & Rich soon transitioned into an international imprint focusing on health and sportswear.
adidas tapped the label in late 2022 to set its vintage touch on several classic models. Following a successful output, the duo returns for a second collaborative effort. The collection represents a healthy way of life combined with meaningful rest and replenishment.
Once again, Oberg supplies vintage sportswear references across the collection as she reconceives archival silhouettes for the present day. As previously revealed via early imagery, Sporty & Rich decks out the Samba OG in three delicate colorways — “Blue Rush,” “Cream White,” and “White.” While the latter sees its original black, white, and gum accents, the “Cream White” rendition dons a tan leather base, accompanied by tonal suede mudguards, light blue Three Stripes branding, and marked heel tabs.
The final colorway receives an inverted version of the previous, while Sporty & Rich lettering adorns the quarters complete with gum rubber bottoms. Additionally, each pair arrives with a custom pearl key ring and co-branded boxing.
As for apparel, the duo embellish adidas’ branded tees in contrasting hues and dual-branded hits, while V-neck sweaters, soccer jerseys, and nylon shorts boast linear ornamentation throughout.
