Merrell 1TRL has just presented its brand-new “The Future Trail” campaign and it looks to uncover the unexpected journeys of those living a life with exploration at its core.

Since Merrell 1TRL’s inception, the brand has continued to provide top-quality trail footwear, showcasing a slew of styles that have kept all bases covered. Previous examples of this have come in the form of the label’s Moab Speed Sneakers and Hydro Moc AT, while collaborative efforts with the likes of Dime and Reece Cooper have offered fresh takes on 1TRL’s most prized silhouettes.

Merrell 1TRL’s latest campaign looks to shine a light on this. Capturing a series of on-film images, each photo celebrates the future of trail footwear as an initiative. Giving multi-purpose and easily-transportable silhouettes the spotlight, the campaign captures a series of Merrell 1TRL sneakers being put to the test as they explore the central Mexican state of Edomex.

Featuring the latest Hydro Moc All-Terrain, the fan-favorite has returned — which is now available to purchase with separate modular components — and its AT Cage forms the system’s base and remains wearable with or without an insert.

The campaign also marks the launch of a brand new 1TRL silhouette: the Hut Moc 2 Packable. Designed as a direct response to how people attach their Hydro Moc silhouettes to backpacks, this latest installment from the brand is presented as an all-new travel shoe and features a zip-and-clip design system that allows the user to zip their shoes together and clip them to their pack or stowaway easily.

You can check out the new “The Future Trail” campaign above and all of the featured styles are available to shop via the Merrell 1TRL website now.
