BMW has officially unveiled its all-new i7 M70 sedan, the automaker’s quickest and most powerful EV to date. The all-electric flagship packs 650 hp, has a 0-60 time of 3.5 seconds, and maxes out at a top speed of 155 mph, all while offering an estimated range of 295 miles.
Aesthetically, the i7 M70 exteriors are set apart by its black trim, side skirts, and rear diffuser modifications, with the M Performance Professional package incorporating additional hits of black on the rear spoiler, rear bumper, and trim piece between the taillights. 21-inch M light-alloy wheels with blue floating-caliper rear brakes come standard, and the illuminated grille is finished in black high gloss.
Tuned by BMW’s M division, the chassis is stiffened and performance adaptive air suspension is paired with electronically controlled dampers. A new drive mode called Max Range is introduced which limits the car to 56 mph, and DC fast charging allows the car to power up from 10 to 80 percent in 34 minutes. The flagship model is also loaded with all of the latest technology including BMW Operating System 8.5 using the latest generation of the infotainment head unit, BMW Curved Display, a Panoramic Sky Lounge LED Roof, and AR-assisted navigation.
