MAX Shares In-Production Teaser for 'The Batman' Spinoff 'The Penguin'
Starring Colin Farrell, the series picks up where Matt Reeves’ 2022 film left off.
Following word of development for The Penguin early last year, the highly-anticipated MAX, formerly known as HBO Max, The Batman spinoff series has now received an in-production teaser. The in-production series shows how The Penguin will pick up where Matt Reeves’ 2022 film.
Starring Collin Farrell as Oswald Cobblepot, the mob boss begins his siege to control Gotham’s underworld following the demise of Salvatore Maroni. The behind-the-scenes look shares moments of filming that reveal the continued stylized dark aesthetic with Reeves serving as Executive Producer. Starring alongside Farrell is Cristin Milioti as Carmine Falcone’s daughter Sofia Falcone, Michael Zegen as Carmine’s son Alberto Falcone, and Clancy Brown as Salvatore Maroni.
The in-production teaser for The Penguin was revealed as part of Warner Bros. Discovery’s presentation of upcoming content and announcement of its rebranding. During the presentation, other teasers were shared for Detective: Night Country, The Regime, The Sympathizer, and more.
