New Balance Adds the 1906R to the "Overdyed Pack"
Sporting a deep blue with a DIY-esque finish.
In recent years, New Balance has seen several of its models thrive under the brand’s surge of popularity. Most notably, the 550 and 2002R have dominated as go-to options for many. However, as trends continue evolve, the 1906R may be the next silhouette to find itself on top. Collaborations with size?, Aimé Leon Dore and AURALEE on the model are sure to introduce plenty of new customers to the sneaker and the American sportswear brand continues to show love to the model with its general releases.
The latest look to adorn the 1906R adds to New Balance’s “Overdyed Pack” treatment that similarly outfitted the 2002R in a beige look. With the 1906R, both its mesh base and suede overlays have been covered in a blue overdyed effect. A darker navy appears at the “N” logo and laces while an almost-black hue covers the shoe’s signature cage. Lastly, an off-white chimes in at the midsole while being packed with N-ERGY cushioning.
While a stateside release for the New Balance 1906R “Overdyed Pack” has not yet been announced, the pair has popped up courtesy of select retailers such as Up There. Upon its North American release, expect it to be priced at the typical $150 USD.
