Lofi Girl Launches New "Synthwave Boy" Channel
Explaining the sudden disappearance of Jade the Lofi Girl.
After the Lofi Girl stream was taken down last year for false copyright strikes, the Lofi Girl character named Jade was seen disappearing from her desk for the first time. However, this time it was voluntarily as part of a “surprise” that would turn out to be the introduction of a brand new character to the Lofi World.
The channel is officially titled “Synthwave – beats to chill/game to,” and the unnamed character is currently referred to by the community as “Synthwave Boy” or “Lofi Boy.” Planted at his desk with his left side facing the window, the character is seen in his room typing on the mechanical keyboard next to a Saturn-shaped neon sign, a lava lamp, and his dog. As part of the storyline, a faint blue window can be seen from the original Lofi Girl stream which has been revealed as the room of “Synthwave Boy.” Likewise, the outline of her room can be seen from his window. The disappearance is interpreted as the two neighbors taking time to meet up.
