Coachella has officially announced that VERDY, the graphic artist behind Girls Don’t Cry and Wasted Youth, will be this year’s artist in residence. As many have guessed from the billboard on Sunset BLVD, VERDY will be debuting an exclusive capsule collection this weekend at the desert festival.

VERDY’s partnership with Coachella continues the artist’s impressive list of cross-industry collaborations which include Beats by Dre, BLACKPINK, PSG, UNDERCOVER, Budweiser, and more. The announcement comes following a teaser video announcing the arrival of a Record Safari pop-up at the festival selling over 25,000 new and used records including rare finds such as Frank Ocean’s Blonde Black Friday Edition vinyl.

Take a look at the billboard below and stay tuned for announcements. Coachella weekend 1 begins on April 14. The full lineup can be found here.
