Acura, the luxury and performance division of Honda, is celebrating an exciting vehicle debut with the release of a new season of its anime, Chiaki’s Journey. The company has offered a preview of the 2024 Acura Integra Type S, its most powerful Integra to date.

First premiering in 2022, Chiaki’s Journey sees racing protégé Chiaki gets behind the wheel of the Type S to compete in Colorado’s Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. Four new episodes of the anime are currently available for view online.

Tying turbocharged capacity together with Acura’s strong racing heritage, the car officially launched this past weekend at the 48th annual Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach. At the event, attendees were able to see a life-size version of Uncle Noboru’s Type S garage from the anime, which showed off the 2024 Integra Type S. Acuras throughout the event, meanwhile, were encased in anime-style wraps celebrating the second season of Chiaki’s Journey.

In June, the Type S will take on its first-ever motorsports race, hitting the tracks of The Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, piloted by Loni Unser.

Ahead of the event, watch the trailer for season two of Chiaki’s Journey above and stream all four episodes on YouTube.
