WACKO MARIA Releases First Tupac Collaboration
Coinciding with the 50th anniversary celebration of hip-hop.
WACKO MARIA is releasing its first collaborative collection with legendary rapper, Tupac. The drop comes just in time to celebrate the 50th anniversary of hip-hop.
For this collaborative release, WACKO MARIA takes a couple of the most iconic images of the rapper, printing them all over the button-down bowling shirts. One of the images includes Tupac giving two middle fingers to the camera, adorned in a cross-chain and gold jewelry, all while wearing his signature bandana look. The shirt sees his name “Tupac” sprawled across the front and sleeves of the shirt. With this particular image, the shirt arrives in a black and white and color image.
The other Tupac rendition sees the shirtless rapper looking pensively wearing just his jewelry and a pair of jeans. The black and white image is copied throughout the shirt, which arrives in three colorways — blue, purple and black. His name “Tupac” is also adorned in the background in gothic font.
The collaborative pieces arrive at select retailers and online at WACKO MARIA starting on April 1. The collection arrives just after the label recently launched its Nanga outdoor adventure SS23 collaboration which is still available online.
