Nowadays, much of the focus on Nike Basketball is centered around its all-star roster of talent that has received signature shoes. However, its standard models continue to serve as a playground for new technology and ideas. For 2023, the third version of the Cosmic Unity is set to launch. Designed with sustainability in mind from the start, the Cosmic Unity 3 continues the Swoosh’s commitment to environmental friendliness.

Previously, the Cosmic Unity debuted in 2021 with a sequel in July of 2022. Now, following an early look at the third iteration, Nike has officially shared its details. Its build emphasizes a “low-to-the-ground feel” with its lightweight materials while also providing cloud-like cushioning with foam in the midsole. A midfoot Flymesh hugs the foot when in use while a new Flyknit collar adapts to the user. Appearing in a “Phantom/Bright Cactus/Light Bone/Medium Soft Pink” colorway, its various colorful hues trade places across the highly-detailed upper.

For those interested in giving the Nike Cosmic Unity 3 a try, this “Bring It Outside” colorway is expected to land on shelves on April 20 via Nike and select retailers at a price of $170 USD.

Enjoy the shoe’s initial reveal above and for more of the latest footwear news, rumors regarding Devin Booker’s debut signature shoe with Nike Basketball have popped up once again — this time pointing towards an expected release in the springtime of 2024.
