New Balance 990v6 Appears With a Simple "Navy/Grey" Makeover
A more versatile colorway in case Action Bronson’s take is a little too wild for your taste.
There’s high energy around New Balance and its lifestyle category right now, especially for its 990v6 model. Rapper and food enthusiast Action Bronson is gearing up to release his collaborative rendition (he has also been teasing a few more colorways) and it’s also been popping up in new inline color schemes. As tradition shows with every new 990v model that comes out, it’s always prepared in its signature grey, black and navy colorways. And now the latter has just gotten tossed into the mix and revealed by way of official imagery.
Presentation-wise, the kicks are completely done up with neutral tones which offers wearers versatility all-year round. Components of the upper including the mesh build, suede mudguards and suede toe box overlays are done up in a deep navy hue, the latter of which sticks out due to its slightly lighter shade. To balance things out, New Balance integrates small doses of grey into the laces, interior liners, reflective collars and N logos. Beneath all of that sits a semi-chunky midsole that splits its color-blocking between white and grey panels.
Be on the lookout for New Balance and affiliated retailers to drop these in the coming weeks for $200 USD.
In other news, the New Balance 9060 has surfaced in a lush “Pine Green” colorway.
