Cat Footwear has just presented a new campaign for its latest silhouette: the Alpha.

Looking back into its archive, this latest design from Cat takes inspiration from one of its older styles, The Protector, which was originally designed as an industrial shoe with a notable met guard feature across the upper. The met guard was designed to supply enhanced protection when working on industrial sites, while the shoe’s sole featured deep lugs for multi-terrain usage.

With this in mind, the Alpha’s brand-new design is a revitalized take on the brand’s classic — and it has been created with hard-wearing fabrications with protection in mind. The shoe also comes as part of Cat’s “RePowered” collection and it features an all-new met guard.

Boasting a nubuck upper with a breathable nylon mesh lining, the design is also complemented with a soft EVA foam footbed to allow for long-wearing comfort. Meanwhile, the shoe is finished with a durable rubber outsole and Strobel construction.

You can take a closer look at the new Alpha from Cat above and it is available to shop via the brand’s official website now.
