On Friday, the hyperpop project of Dylan Brady and Laura Les returned with their long-awaited sophomore album, 10,000 gecs. Out via Dog Show and Atlantic Records, the compact 10-track LP clocks in at less than 30 minutes, but doesn’t skimp out on the duo’s eclectic, high-energy sound.
Just a few days after the release, 100 gecs is celebrating the rollout with a new music video. This one is dedicated to the glitchy angst-ridden single “Dumbest girl alive.”
The visual opens with Brady sitting unbothered on the stairs, accompanied by his acoustic guitar. In the distance, a blue-hued hologram of Les emerges. The remainder of the video hones in on Les’ frantic dancing through a montage of choppy cuts.
