Junya Watanabe MAN and East London-based footwear label Stepney Workers Club are continuing to expand on their ongoing partnership with the release of a brand-new footwear design, one that follows the recently-dropped beige slip-on silhouette from the backend of last year.

Over recent times, Junya Watanabe MAN has collaborated with some of the biggest footwear players in the game. For example, the designer has worked with the likes of the Oakley Factory Team for a stealthy and functional shoe, while the recently-presented collaboration with New Balance on a line of 574 silhouettes unveiled another example of Watanabe MAN’s impressive versatility.

Now, Junya Watanabe MAN’s latest creation is designed with the same silhouette as past SWC slide-on collaborations. However, this latest design between the two takes punk rock inspiration with an assemblage of metallic studs across the upper.

The black shoe is also crafted with buffed faux leather, while its elasticated gussets sit alongside a tongue logo label and an embossed logo on the heel. Rounding things off, the shoe is finished with a canvas lining and treaded rubber sole with enlarged “JWCdGMAN” markings.

You can take a closer look at the new Junya Watanabe MAN x Stepney Workers Club collaboration above and it is available to shop via select stocklists now.
