Official Images of the Nike Air Penny 2 "Atlantic Blue"
The ’90s retro shoe is to make a comeback this holiday season.
Update: Back in February, it was revealed that the Air Penny 2 would be returning by taking on the “Atlantic Blue” look, combining white and blue. Now, the Swoosh has officially revealed the pair with its original detailing ranging from a white leather base to blue suede at its uppermost portion. In addition to this showcase, an expected release date of November 25 has surfaced with a price of $200 USD via Nike and select retailers.
Original Story: Following the reveal of the Nike Air Penny 2 in “Black Patent”, the sportswear giant has announced the retro return of the “Atlantic Blue” colorway. The shoe was originally released in 1996 and is set to make its way back to retailers by the end of the year.
The second Penny Hardaway signature shoe is making a comeback in the classic Atlantic Blue, White, Black and Metallic Silver color scheme. Staying true to the original release, the shoe is set to feature the same all-white leather base for the blue suede eyestays, ankle and tongue. The Hardaway “1 Cent” logo is seen on the collar and heel branding. The shoe sits atop a white phylon midsole and blue rubber outsole to round out the design.
The Nike Air Penny 2 “Atlantic Blue” arrives around the holidays this year at select retailers and at Nike for $200 USD.
