Lacoste and COMME des GARÇONS SHIRT Team Up for New Collection
With a focus on asymmetrical detailing.
Lacoste and COMME des GARÇONS SHIRT have teamed up for a new collection. The new offering offers a taste of versatile fusion by uniting the French brand with one of CDG’s sub-labels.
With a tennis foundation, Lacoste’s offerings have always walked in the lanes of sportswear and preppy stylings. CDG SHIRT on the other hand has danced with elements of preppy stylings alongside a few contemporary street-focused sentiments. So the latest collection sees the best of both worlds even though classic stylings remain at the core.
The new collection features a lineup of knitwear, polo shirts, button-down shirts and t-shirts. But the most exciting aspect is the asymmetrical detailing that permeates the entire collection. Standout pieces include a white asymmetrical button-down shirt with three Lacoste crocodile logos of varying sizes, an asymmetrical knit black cardigan and an all-over crocodile print striped button-down shirt.
Additionally, the range of pieces appears in shades of white, gray, coral, lime green, black, salmon and sea blue. Finishing off the pieces is the signature Lacoste crocodile logo that comes in its signature green patch alongside enlarged screen prints in black and white.
