The ever-popular New Balance 2002R is making a comeback with new colorways for its Protection Pack. Late last year, a pair of grayscale New Balance 2002R “Protection Pack” surfaced and now official images of a navy and black colorway have appeared. In 2021, the collection released three distressed colorways including “Rain Cloud,” “Phantom” and “Sea Salt,” each a major hit amongst NB fans.

Now, the navy and black color scheme has arrived, both quite identical to one another. The only difference between the two include the main color used. The main navy and black hues are highlighted on the shaggy suede overlays while the rest of the shoe appears in a lighter hue than the titular color on the mesh upper makeup. Both pairs feature clean white and classic grey accents throughout the shoe, while the midsoles are dressed in white and beige that sit on a black rubber outsole to round out the design.

Look out for the upcoming New Balance 2002R “Protection Pack” in navy and black arriving on March 3 in select retailers and on New Balance.
