First Look at Patta's Nike Air Huarache
Pairing a new upper with a Pegasus 40 sole swap.
Amsterdam-based brand Patta has a collaborative catalog that most prominently features an array of footwear projects with American sportswear giant Nike. Over the years, the two have crafted everything from Air Max 1s to an FC Barcelona-themed Air Max Plus and many more. Now, in addition to rumors of them again tackling the Air Max 1, we have a first look at a new collaboration on the Air Huarache. The silhouette has remained lowkey throughout 2023 — appearing in a new Air Huarache Runner look and the retro Air Flight Huarache form as well.
In addition to a rumored Corteiz x Nike Air Trainer Huarache rumor, Patta looks to be taking on the Air Huarache as well. Our first glance at the pair reveals a pink and gray color arrangement across a reinterpreted version of the shoe. Its upper utilizes a cross-strap system in pink with black hardware as the sole unit features a swap from the Pegasus 40. Key detailing includes a “Air Huarache by Patta” badge at the tongue and co-branding at the heel tab alongside a co-branded shoe box.
At the time of writing, no information regarding this forthcoming collaboration between Patta and Nike on the Air Huarache has been disclosed by either brand. Stay tuned for updates as we expect this unique project to be arriving at some point during 2024.
