Nike's Air Force 1 Low and Dunk Low Remastered Join the Year of the Dragon Celebration
Adding to the brand’s expansive collection for Chinese New Year.

For 2024, Nike is going all-out with its celebration of Chinese New Year and the Year of the Dragon. Jordan Brand is again preparing a wide variety of sneakers for the festive season while Nike Basketball is offering both the Ja 1 and KD4 in thematic finishes. Per usual, silhouettes such as the Air Force 1 and Dunk are participating as well with two new looks revealed by Nike across the Dunk Low Remastered and Air Force 1 Low.
First, the Dunk Low Remastered utilizes its deconstructed upper to host off-white and gray at its base and overlays respectively. From there, jumbo Swooshes in jade appear at each side while small embroidered Swooshes favor a bright blue finish. Its lateral stitched tags utilize red while the off-white foam tongue matches the rubber outsole. As for the Air Force 1 Low, it is the third version of the silhouette to don a “Year of the Dragon” look for 2024 and primarily features off-white across its build, including at the scale-covered Swooshes. Red and teal accents also make an appearance with a special dubrae tying the theme together.
We’ve yet to receive word from the Swoosh regarding its release procedure for the entirety of its Year of the Dragon-themed collection, including both this Air Force 1 Low and Dunk Low Remastered. Stay tuned for updates as it’s expected to launch in the coming weeks via Nike SNKRS and select retailers.
