Metro Boomin has had an extremely busy year in 2023. While the Atlanta producer has long been working with some of rap’s heaviest hitters, this year saw him produce the entire soundtrack for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, as well as executive producing Young Thug’s Business Is Business.

He’s also been teasing a highly-anticipated collaborative LP with Future, which the two have ensured fans is on the way. With just a few days left in 2023, Young Metro has now revealed that he has another project up his sleeve.

This one is a joint album with fellow Atlanta producer Zaytoven. Metro shared the news on X, posting screenshots of text exchanges with Zaytoven alongside a goat emoji to signify the producer’s legendary status.

“Me and @zaytovenbeatz probably got 100 beats by now,” he wrote. “I got on here to ask you guys what artist should we do a tape with first but now I’m thinking maybe it should be a compilation tape of various artists over these masterpieces!”

Metro also wrote that the sounds they’ve been producing are like “nothing [his] ears have ever heard before” and asked fans what their name should be as a production duo.

The duo previously worked together on the track “RIP Luv” off of 202’s Savage Mode II. Zaytoven has also produced for several of the same artists as Metro, including Future.

It seems that Metro fans will have a great deal of new music to look forward to in 2024. Stay tuned for more updates on his joint mixtape with Zaytoven.
