Richard Mille has released a new model, the RM 21-02 Tourbillon Aeordyne. In less than two decades since it was founded, Richard Mille has been a staple amongst the elite, establishing itself as a trailblazer in the world of luxury watches. Continuing to pride itself on its distinctive aesthetic, bridging the gap for timepieces that are playful, futuristic, industrial and sporty, Richard Mille has carved its own lane in the horolosphere.

While most Richard Milles can be spotted a mile away, with its flash and bright colors, the latest limited-edition wristpiece goes against its usual grain. The latest edition of the RM 21-02 Tourbillon Aerodyne sees the Swiss watchmaker take on a monochromatic reveal. The much more toned down version of typical Richard Milles is now revealed in a stark white version that highlights the textures of the materials used when constructing the watch.

Reimagined in a whited and black combo, the watch features Carbon TPT, a material often found in the automotive industry and plane fuselages to Formula 1 machines, as well as Quartz TPT and titanium for the bezel and caseback, respectively. Its case is water-resistant to 50 meters and features 20 spline screws made of grade 5 titanium with abrasion-resistant washers in 316L stainless steel. The watch’s signature tonneau-shaped case has the dimensions of 42.68 x 50.12 x 14.30 mm. The skeleton display highlights the manual winding tourbillon movement. In oversized Arabic numerals are the hours while colors accent the power reserve and torque indicators. The movement features a baseplate in honeycombed Orthorhombic Haynes 214 with Carbon TPT and a black PVD treatment to highlight its original construction.

The RM 21-02 Tourbillon Aerodyne is limited to 50 pieces and is only available at Richard Mille boutiques for $928,000 USD.
