As Nike continues to emphasize innovation with its approach to building new footwear silhouettes, it’s doing so with all ages in mind. While the Nike Kids division is known for recreating some of the brand’s most sought-after sneakers in kid sizing — like the Off-White™ x Nike Air Max 90 — it is looking to support its future athletes with new designs. Following last year’s integration of FlyEase technology on the Dynamo Go, it now introduces the Nike Swoosh 1.

This development from Nike is designed to support kids learning to walk as it promotes natural gait development — the establishing of balance and leg strength. Nike Kids’ first shoe to receive the American Podiatric Medical Association Seal of Acceptance, it utilizes a Flyknit upper that is made with 80% recycled materials by weight and offers 360 degrees of pliable support as it can bend in all directions. Supporting the little sneaker, a lightweight TPU outsole emphasizes traction and durability.

For those interested in picking up a pair, the Nike Swoosh 1 is available now in its debut “Siren Red/Game Royal” colorway via Nike at a price of $62 USD in a size range of 2C to 7C.
