Nike Unveils the 2023-24 NBA City Edition Uniforms
Emphasizing court, community and culture, each design taps into the history and heritage that makes each franchise unique.
Since signing an eight-year apparel deal with the NBA, Nike has expanded the league’s uniform offerings with the introduction of the City Edition series. The line emphasizes court, community and culture as each uniform taps into the history and heritage that makes each franchise unique. Entering its seventh season to date, Nike’s NBA City Edition collection continues with the unveiling of the uniforms for the 2023-24 season.
For the Brooklyn Nets, it connected with local artist and longtime fan KAWS, while others such as the Dallas Mavericks’ uniform draws inspiration from North Texas native Leon Bridges. The most recent champions, the Denver Nuggets, sport a “5280” wordmark across the chest that celebrates the team’s mile-high status.
Home teams will be wearing their City Edition uniforms during the inaugural NBA In-Season Tournament, which begins on Nov 3 with a doubleheader featuring the New York Knicks versus the Milwaukee Bucks and the Denver Nuggets against the Dallas Mavericks. In addition to this, special moments such as City Edition courts will complement the uniforms and amplify their storytelling.
