Brain Dead Drops Hypnotic Winter 2023 Collection

Brain Dead has returned with its mainline Winter 2023 collection, filled with myriad mesmerizing silhouettes that look to put you in a “deep state of hypnosis.”
Pictured in Tokyo’s metropolitan areas, the line’s lookbook spotlights the creative collective’s trippy knitwear, artful graphics and double-take-worthy trousers. Among the standouts, the Swirls Twill Pants don all-over green spirals, and the Bubble Knit Cardigan enlists a saturated stripe design in several lysergic colorways.
Down the line, the Doily Chore Coat boasts a paneled canvas and nylon construction, with three front pockets and a tonal Brain Dead doily motif, while the Brushed Rancher Flannel Shirt Jacket adopts a heavyweight finish with silk lining and side-seam pockets. There’s a bevy of button-down shirts that feature utilitarian storage and tasteful designs, while hoodies, long-sleeves and T-shirts let Brain Dead’s expressive illustrations come to life in full force.
In its collection notes, Brain Dead articulates the imaginative experience that the brand wants it customers to have with its designs: “You are literally high on clothes. Your head spins while T-shirts, Chore Coats, Work Jackets, Dresses, Hoodies, and Pants materialize in all their glow and glory in front of your spiraling eyes. Yes, we do that to people.”
