Update: Superstar LeBron James has proven that he’s got plenty of play left in his tank as he recently won the first NBA In-Season Tournament and was crowned the cup’s first MVP. Off the court, he continues to thrive as well with a range of retro releases joined by the new
Original Story: Nike and LeBron James continue to expand their basketball football line in honor of the Lakers‘ 21st season in the NBA. Coming later this year, the Nike LeBron 21 arrives in a fresh two-tone “Conchiolin” colorway.
The new iteration sees the signature shoe arrive in a white, black, bicoastal and photon dust palette that coincides with what the shoe is named after. Conchiolin is known as a tough protein that fortifies the mollusk shells, making them almost impenetrable. The shoe featurs a white upper with pearlescent finish while black accents the collar, tongue and lateral Swoosh. The bicoastal tone is seen on the medial Swoosh, eyestay and heels that enhance the design’s unique look, tying it back to the conchiolin inspiration. The shoe sits atop a black midsole and white rubber outsole to round it all off.
Look out for the Nike LeBron 21 “Conchiolin” launching on December 19 at select retailers and online at Nike for $200 USD.
