NewJeans Stars in New Nike Air Max Campaign
Is there a collaboration on the way?

After dropping their League of Legends World Championship anthem “GODS,” K-pop supergroup NewJeans have become the latest faces for Nike. Fueling fanfare, the group — consisting of Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin and Hyein — appears in a Nike Korea Air Max video to help promote the famous sneaker line, known for its cushioned, pressurized midsoles.
Nike Seoul shared the visual to Instagram on Thursday, revealing a video of the girl group running through the halls of an empty school. Each NewJeans member wears all white, with a multi-toned Nike Air Max silhouette on foot, as they’re chased by a deer inside the building. It’s unclear whether there’s a NewJeans x Nike collaboration brewing, or if this is simply a clever advertising tactic for the sportswear brand, which captioned the post, “#Airmax,” alongside several emojis.

NewJeans previously starred in a campaign for Nike Air Max in March of this year, landing on the Nike Seoul Instagram account in a number of fisheye-lensed shots and another high-octane video. At the time, the K-pop singers styled their shoes with garments from standout South Korean brands, including KANGHYUK, FFFPOSTALSERVICE and more.
