Looking ahead to the next Lunar New Year, Hamilton has revealed a bold skeletonized model to honor the forthcoming zodiac animal of the year. The Ventura Dragon Skeleton is presented in the ELVIS80 watch case, measuring 42.5mm in diameter and 44.6mm in height.
The reference is offered in two colorways: one starring a rose gold PVD case, while the other boasts a blacked-out look. Both versions house a matte black PVD-coated skeleton dial emblazoned with graphic cut-outs that depict a fierce profile of the Eastern dragon. On the rose gold variant, the dragon is accentuated with green eyes and golden outlines that complement the warm hues of its case and handset. Meanwhile, the all-black option features black outlines, accompanied by bold red eyes that go with the color of the seconds hand.
Beating at the heart of the Ventura Dragon Skeleton is the H-10-S automatic caliber. Equipped with an anti-magnetic and shock-resistant Nivachron™ balance spring, the timepiece is capable of withstanding 50 meters underwater with a power reserve of up to 80 hours.
Completing the watches are custom-made black rubber straps in an all-over and textured dragon scale pattern. Both iterations of the watch are currently available via Hamilton’s official webstore, retailing for $1,995 USD each.
