Louis Vuitton Confuses With Its Fake Leg-Like Illusion High Boot
Inspired by Trompe-l’œil surrealist art movement.
Debuted at Louis Vuitton‘s Fall/Winter 2023 show, the French luxury fashion house has now released its fake leg-like Illusion High Boot. Available in ankle and knee-high heights, along with two skin tones, the heeled boots are designed to express the look of a leg wearing black heels with LV branded white socks.
Priced at $2,470 USD, the Illusion High Boot and Illusion Ankle Boot are hand constructed of calf leather and hand-painted to create the optical illusion effect. Made in Italy, the hand painting is complete with ribbed detailing and LV initials. Each pair come complete with back zip closures and leather outsoles.
