Phoebe Philo Sets Official Collection Launch Date for Namesake Label
Arriving at the end of October.

This past weekend, the fashion industry was greeted with the long-anticipated news that Phoebe Philo has set an official launch date for her namesake label. Making a return to fashion with her own brand, the designer is set to launch her first collection at the end of October.
Subscribers who signed up for Philo’s mailing list received an email confirmation on Saturday that confirmed the launch of her namesake collection with a series of fast flashing images. Fans were given a teaser of what to expect for her namesake label’s creative vision. This is the first time her fans would have received a glimpse of the brand which was first announced in July 2021. The fast-moving GIFs saw various images of makeup-less faces as well as detail shots of the fabrics and models wearing dark shades and statement chunky silver earrings and a high-reaching knit polo-neck.
Since her departure from Celine in 2018, Philo has managed to stay out of the limelight and remain one of the most talked about designers in the industry. The British-born designer began climbing the ranks of fashion with her time at Chloé wehere she started in 1997 under the helm of fellow Central Saint Martins alumni Stella McCartney. She later helmed the brand as its creative director in 2001. At Chloé she redefined womenswear silhouettes and the definition of what it means to be the modern woman. Over the course of her career, she developed a loyal following from her fans who have been dubbed the “Philophiles.” Well, Philophiles need not wait any longer as the official launch of her namesake label is set for October 30.
