Joel Embiid Rumored to Sign Skechers Endorsement

According to The Athletic’s NBA Insider, Shams Charania, Joel Embiid is now rumored to sign an endorsement deal with Skechers. The report notes that the Philadelphia 76ers star and reigning NBA MVP will serve as the face of Skechers’ upcoming basketball division.

Embiid who most recently released the Embiid One signature shoe with Under Armour following his five-year 2018 deal was previously signed to adidas.

Although the deal is still being finalized, Embiid reportedly wore Skechers’ shoes during a recent 76ers practice. Earlier this month, players like New York Knicks forward Julius Randle and Los Angeles Clippers forward Terance Mann were also spotted wearing unreleased Skechers basketball sneakers.
