"Thunder Blue" and "Saturn Gold" Collide on the Nike SB React Leo
Offering a “Michigan”-esque colorway on the new skate silhouette.
Leo Baker is no stranger to career accomplishments, having collected a plethora of medals in skateboarding over the years. However, one of his crowning achievements thus far is creating a signature shoe with Nike SB. The SB React Leo was introduced earlier this year and has taken on looks from a chocolatey “Cacao Wow” to a Halloween-esque “Electro Orange.” Now, it has been dressed with a look that could easily fit under the “Michigan” moniker.
Combining “Thunder Blue” and “Saturn Gold,” the skate-ready sneaker hosts both hues across its mixed material composition that combines leather at the toe box with patterned synthetic underlays elsewhere. Blue suede stretches over the base, matching the blue leather Swooshes while black breaks things up at the laces and rubber outsole, resting beneath a white midsole to complete the look.
Nike has yet to divulge any release details surrounding the launch of this “Thunder Blue” and “Saturn Gold” rendition of Leo Baker’s Nike SB React Leo. Stay tuned for updates as it should arrive in the coming months via Nike and select skate shops at a price of $95 USD.
