Classic Remix is an initiative that celebrates culture and fashion, while also providing mentorship and funds to up-and-coming designers. Within its three years, Classic Remix has partnered with established independent designers to create collections inspired by the brand’s Tennessee Honey and Tennessee Apple flavors. Designers including Ouigi Theodore of Brooklyn Circus, Sheila Rashid and Justin Mensinger (founders of their eponymous labels), Corianna, and Brianna Dotson of Coco and Breezy, Nigeria Ealey of TIER, and designer Kristopher Kites were called upon to create clothing, sunglasses, accessories and jewelry reflecting Jack Daniel’s heritage and independent ethos. In addition to celebrating Classic Remix’s designs at the HB Mag event, Jack Apple is also celebrating its efforts in providing early stage designers mentorship and monetary support to help realize their design dreams. To date, Jack Apple has matched the sales of each year’s featured items that have been created and sold to the public which has allowed the campaign to award more than $250,000 in fashion grants to up and coming designers that truly need the support to jumpstart their careers.

Hypebeast Magazine’s 32nd issue, titled The Fever Issue, explores how designers, artists and creatives are moving at a more feverish pace in response to today’s trends and intense consumer climate. In the issue, Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Apple Classic Remix explores the antithesis of this notion, spotlighting independent designers who adhere to a “quality takes time” approach to their designs. The collection’s archives speak for themselves in terms of thoughtfulness, inspiration, and quality construction. The HB Mag Issue #32 launch also introduces the fourth year of the Classic Remix collections which taps Ouigi Theodore of Brooklyn Circus once again for a full circle moment. The fourth season will once again showcase the power of independent design and the fulfilling practice of paying things forward through another round of mentorships and financial support for the next generation of designers.

Hypebeast Magazine’s Issue #32 launch event, presented by Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Apple Classic Remix, will take place on October 26, 2023. Classic Remix seasons one through three will be on view in photo format next to the new season four pieces designed by Ouigi Theodore of Brooklyn Circus. Attendees will also get the chance to enjoy drinks and cocktails from the event’s Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Apple bar. The event is for ages 21+ and is invite only.
