Original Story: Jordan Brand has cemented the Air Jordan 3 as a staple in its annual delivery of Air Jordans. While the team often revisits retro looks, it hasn’t shied away from exploring new approaches as well. Notably, J Balvin reworked the shoe this year and will do so again in 2024 alongside the delivery of another new presentation — this “Midnight Navy” colorway.
In our first preview of the sneaker — courtesy of sneaker leaker @MasterChefIan — we see the Air Jordan 3 outfitted with a primarily-white leather upper. From there, a “Cement Grey” chimes in at the lacing system, lining and rubber outsole while an elephant print at the mudguard and heel sees black patterning run across a darker grey base. “Midnight Navy” accents the pair at the collar, the Jumpman branding found at the tongue and heel and a portion of the otherwise-white midsole.
While we’ve yet to receive word from Nike regarding the Air Jordan 3 “Midnight Navy” and its release period, a tentative launch date of January 13 via Nike SNKRS and select Jordan Brand retailers at a price of $200 USD is expected.
