KAWS To Release Wooden 'BETTER KNOWING' Figure
Dropping only 100 units, plus 20 APs.
Following a collaboration with Shreeji News on Marylebone London’s Chiltern Street, KAWS has now unveiled a brushed wooden iteration of his BETTER KNOWING figurine. Crafted from afrormosia wood, the striking piece was briefly teased at his recent Frieze London pop-up in commemoration of his new book New Fiction book.
The ‘COMPANION’ figure is crafted with a smooth wooden material and depicts the character sitting down pensively, legs crossed and head angled toward the floor. Limited to an edition of 100, plus 10 APs, KAWS’ BETTER KNOWING retails for a slight $14,000 USD – which does not include shipping and applicable taxes – and will be available to purchase beginning tomorrow, October 17, at 12:00 p.m. EST on kawsone.com. International shipping is available to select countries.
