Ice Spice is starting the new year off strong with a fresh track. “In Ha Mood” is a club banger created to inspire women to recognize their own worth.

For the song, the Bronx rapper teamed up with her frequent collaborator RIOTUSA to create a beat inspired by jersey clubs. After opening with a warped sing-song melody, Spice calls out her tagline and launches into a rhythmic, balanced rap sequence.

“She a baddie, she know she a ten / She a baddie with her baddie friend,” Spice raps. “They like, “Ice, how you always stay hot?” / Oh, they mad ’cause I keep makin’ bops.”

In later bars, Spice talks about avoiding fakes since her music career has blown up and continuing to work on grinding out new music.

“In Ha Mood” follows 2022’s viral single “Munch (Feelin’ U),” the song responsible for putting Spice on the map, as well as other hits such as “Bikini Bottom” and a rap twist on Zedd and Foxes’ “Clarity.”
