Daily Paper Covers All Bases With New SS23 Collection
Taking inspiration from the rich cultural history of Northern Africa.
Amsterdam-based label Daily Paper has touched down in North Africa to present its all-new men and womenswear collections for Spring/Summer 2023.
Taking inspiration from the rich cultural history of Northern Africa — and the artisanal connection between the land and spoken language — the collection has taken a melange of African prints and spread them across a slew of seasonal styles for a collection that’s aptly dubbed “Under The Same Moon.”
Starting with a woven tapestry jacquard suit, natural henna dye is used to reflect the tradition of North African craftsmanship and the use of natural materials. Additionally, the collection also leans into the power of nature; an illustration of a plant network can be spotted on various summer styles, all of which are designed in an assemblage of earthy tones.

A collection highlight comes in the form of the classic padded gilet — available in light green — and the sleeveless jacket features a hidden zipper that is secured with snap buttons. Welt pockets are also included alongside a high collar while a black monogram lining and tonal elements set the foundation for a raised rubber logo print on the chest.
Rounding off the drop, new seasonal bags arrive in a white monogram print and a new tote style is also available in black. Once again, Daily Paper welcomes shield quilted bags in “Odyssey Blue” as well as an “Absinth Green” mini handbag — all of which come alongside a fresh selection of socks, bucket hats, and caps.
You can take a closer look at the SS23 collection from Daily Paper above and it will be available on the official Daily Paper website and in the Amsterdam and London-based flagship stores from January 13.
