21 Savage took to social media to announce that he will never perform for a Rolling Loud festival ever again after his supposed stint at Rolling Loud New York 2022.

The artist simply tweeted “Rolling loud will never get a show out of me ever again” without more information or context and reportedly sent out the statement 30 minutes into what was meant to be his two-hour set at the festival. Neither 21 nor Rolling Loud’s camps have responded or clarified the situation, but fans online claim that the rapper was unable to hit the stage due to his late arrival and that the likes of Ski Mask the Slump God and Big Sean were also not able to perform.

21 was not the only artist from the Rolling Loud New York lineup that voiced their disappointment; A$AP Rocky‘s set had to be cut short as he supposedly arrived 45 minutes late and was only able to perform two songs before his mic got cut off and the festival had to shut down due to the city’s noise 10 p.m. noise ordinance. “I am so hurt right now! Last night was supposed to be a turning point in my live shows from the old to new! I will take full responsibility for the circumstances of what led to last nights show being everything it was and everything it wasn’t,” he wrote in his apology posted on social media.

HYPEBEAST has reached out to 21 Savage and Rolling Loud’s teams for their comments.

Elsewhere in music, Dre London shared an update to HYPEBEAST about Post Malone’s condition after he was sent to the hospital.
