Mizuno Is Prepared for the Great Outdoors With Its New "GORE-TEX Pack"
Featuring Michelin outsoles with enhanced grip.

Japanese footwear label Mizuno is continuing to ride the wave of regular releases that stretch across all things exploration and athletics. Following the release of its recent “Desert Meditation Pack” and its collaboration with Footpatrol, Mizuno is now presenting its latest editions of the Wave Mujin TL and GTX sneakers for its new “GORE-TEX pack.”
The collection looks to increase comfortability for those who love to explore the great outdoors without compromising on picking the perfect footwear for everyday explorations. Mizuno’s sixth installment of its Wave Mujin TL features a light camouflage print across the design, while the silhouette is sleek and lightweight. This latest edition of the shoe combines the age-old sketches from the original design and merges them with a Michelin outsole that has an improved grip and a flexible outsole.
For the Wave Mujin GTX, the newly-introduced GORE-TEX technology has been integrated in the space between the muted colors and Wave tooling. The shoe also includes ripstop mesh and thermal paneling across the durable upper, while the same Michelin outsole has been used to create a firm base for those walking or running in rural settings.
As a whole, the new GORE-TEX pack from Mizuno is designed for trail running. Mizuno has swapped out the original premium leather that has been seen on previous silhouettes — such as the Prophecy LC — for lighter and more weather-resistant mesh fabrications that allow explorers to battle harsh elements in the quickest way possible.
You can have a closer look at Mizuno’s latest GORE-TEX pack above and it is available from August 12 in retailers such as Footpatrol and Wellgosh.
