Kiko Kostadinov Studio Assists With Creating the ASICS UN1-S Jogger X81
Available now in “Oyster Grey,” “Coffee Bean,” “Bright Gold” and “Baritone Blue.”
While there are no official collaborations between Kiko Kostadinov and ASICS in the pipeline right now, the Bulgarian designer is still offering his assistance from time to time to expand the brand’s inline category. We’ve seen the two parties push out silhouettes like the UB3-S GEL-NIMBUS 9, FB1-S GEL-PRELEUS and HS1-S Tarther Blast in recent years, and now the duo has officially uncovered the UN1-S Jogger X81. Four colorways of the new model are now available, all of which have been revealed by way of official imagery.
Unlike the aforementioned UB3-S GEL-NIMBUS 9 which is constructed with futuristic molds and exposed GEL units, this latest offering skews to the more sleek and casual-centric side of the spectrum. A majority of the base comes built with leather panels, the heels of which feature streaky stitchings while the forefoot opens up to expose is mesh underlays. Added overlays see their way to the collars and feature a lace loop to lock the laces in place, and the tongues are equipped with an extended tab. Below, the midsoles are designed with top and bottom pieces, the former being smooth in texture while the latter bears tiny openings.
