Renell Medrano has become a household name in the creative industry for her captivating photography as she’s shot some of the biggest names in culture from Kendrick Lamar to Jay-Z to Serena Williams. However, she’s proven that her talents are way beyond just capturing the perfect shot as she’s expanded her creative ventures into product design with her entity ICE STUDIOS. The brand has garnered a heap of hype for its cargo skirt that has been sported on celebs like Bella Hadid, and now its calling for our attention once again as it has just unveiled its ASICS GEL-KAYANO 14 collaboration.

Judging from the cooler palette of the kicks, it’s more than likely that they were designed to represent its moniker. Various shades of icy blues are summoned to dress up the mesh underlays, laces, tongues and tiger stripes, while a hint of metallic blue is planted on the lateral heels. A majority of the midsoles are also styled with cool blues, but it’s broken up by lemon-y yellow GEL units. Furthermore, the traditional GEL-KAYANO 14 branding has been fittingly swapped out for an “ICE STUDIOS” spell out.

ICE STUDIOS is officially launching these on August 12.

Elsewhere in sneakers, peep a closer look at ASICS “ACTIBREEZE 3D” slides.
