"Wheat" Hits the Nike Air Max Scorpion
Adding to the newest Air Max’s fall colorways.

While Nike has yet to officially launch the newest entry in the Air Max series, the Air Max Scorpion, more colorways continue to surface. First spotted earlier this year, the Air Max Scorpion has certainly stood out as an experimental silhouette. Now, joining looks such as “Triple Black” and “Wolf Grey,” a fall-ready “Wheat” has arrived on the Air Max Scorpion.
Carrying over a familiar structure with its upper, the Air Max Scorpion favors a Flyknit build that is supported by its oversized, Air-infused sole unit. “Wheat” color detailing involves various shades of golden brown covering the entire shoe. The semi-translucent midsole rests atop a rubber outsole that is accented by hits of green at the forefoot and heel. Beyond that, the color palette is further broadened with a chocolate brown hitting branding elements such as the Swooshes, the tongue’s Air Max callout and the Sunburst logo on the sockliner.
The Swoosh has yet to announce a release date for the Air Max Scorpion “Wheat.” However, look for it to release in women’s sizing later this year via Nike and select retailers.
In other footwear news, Nike has shared an official look at Elena Delle Donne’s signature shoe, the Nike Air Deldon.
