Multi-layered luxury lifestyle group Aman is well-known for its first-rate destination experiences around the world, including resorts, hotels and spas. Further expanding its territory this year, the company is launching its first “Leather Collection” for Summer 2022.

Formed in 2018, the Aman Essentials branch of Aman aims to provide “coveted lifestyle” moments readily accessible to consumers by offering inspired and bespoke products. The brand’s new Leather Collection amplifies that sentiment with the introduction of 19 unique items, featuring passport cases, handbags, wallets and more. Each leather product is hand-crafted in Italy and France, utilizing an authentic construction process of artisanal calf, lamb and goat skin.

Vibrant colorways, Italian hardware, ergonomic zips and autonomous craftsmanship round out the finely-tuned approach to creating this collection. And discussing the background of the brand, along with the purpose of its leather introduction, Aman Essentials CEO, Kristina Romanova tells Hypebeast:

“As a revered hospitality brand which initially launched in 1988 – at Amanpuri, Phuket – Aman has been delivering a holistic lifestyle experience since the brand’s conception. This lifestyle, focused on exceptional design, well-being and standout experiences which connect you with the destination, is now being translated into a product line. I am personally leading the creative approach and design of the collections with the help of the Aman Essentials team and design consultants. I’ve been inspired by the architecture, landscapes, sophisticated color schemes and local cultures where Aman hotels are present, which supports the vision to bring the renowned Aman lifestyle to life.”

“We are excited by the prospect of delivering what our guests have been asking for over recent years – the opportunity to bring their Aman experience into their daily lives and routines. Whether they are in a city destination, spending time on vacation with families or practicing their daily wellness routines, our collections are designed to elevate their daily essentials to be aligned to the coveted Aman way of life. The development of the Leather Collection marks a further step in the Aman vision to expand beyond our property experiences,” adds Romanova.

The Leather Collection by Aman Essentials is priced between $250 USD to $4,000 USD and is now available at worldwide Aman boutiques and destinations, in addition to on the brand’s e-commerce platform.

Elsewhere in fashion, LA’s glitz and glam took center stage for MARCELL VON BERLIN’s FW22 collection.
