Jordan Brand Brings "Chutney" to the Air Jordan 1 Acclimate
Black and yellow for the winter.
One of the most iterated models in the Jordan Brand catalog, the Air Jordan 1, got the ball rolling for Michael Jordan and Nike and continues to push Jordan Brand forward as it is one of the most sought after footwear styles of all time. First introduced in 2021, the Air Jordan 1 Acclimate is one of the brand’s latest attempts at translating the versatile silhouette to a more specialized role. The winter-ready sneaker was revealed to be returning with a “Royal Toe” look that is now followed by a yellow toe “Chutney” colorway.
The boot-like Air Jordan 1 Acclimate carries a heavy duty leather upper which is sure to shield wearers from the elements year round. In “Chutney,” the iconic toe box carries the colorway’s signature yellow hue with perforations that are sealed to ensure protection. This yellow continues as it outlines the Swooshes and hits the tongue branding, outsole and heel. White outfits the base of the upper and the thick midsole while black covers the overlays, laces, tongue and edge of the outsole, completing this snow-ready look.
Release for the Air Jordan 1 Acclimate “Chutney” is expected to take place in the coming months via Nike and select retailers at a price of $150 USD.
In other footwear news, the Air Jordan 11 Low IE is making its 2022 return in “Light Orewood Brown.”
