both, a genderless Paris-based label has revealed its Autumn Winter 2022 Collection dubbed ‘Arte Povera’ with a lookbook that captivates the habitual scenes of life. Taking a creative twist on mundane everyday activities like letter opening or even hauling luggage around. The brand’s history consists of creating modern shoe models with a one-of-a-kind rubber technique and cutting-edge technology. Using EVA, Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate, which is a “rubber-like” material that is both lightweight and durable, both continuously aims to recreate past looks with the EVA material as well as incorporating quality leather and other experimental materials in a carefully thought-out manufacturing process.

The Fall Winter 2022 collection hones in on the label’s method of connecting futurism and realism. Featured in the latest capsule is a wide range of leather footwear that is inclusive for all. Starting with the new Gao Layered Platform Knee Boots in black, it comes with an upper made out of sheep leather and a lining out of calf leather. The boot poses as the brand’s first ever multi-layered shoe and is priced at $660 EUR (approx. $671 USD). Next, the green and black Gao Derbies ($475 EUR (approx.$483) play as a chic loafer and is designed with silver embellishments on the heel, the shoe is made entirely out of soft calfskin leather to contrast the metal detailing. The Gao Eva Mary Jane in black serves as a sophisticated shoe that’s made out of pleather, the loafer features a chunky EVA outsole and a vibrant red insole. The rest of the footwear part of the collection contain materials like hairy suede, faux fur, spazzolato, padded nylon and more.
