Watch the First Teaser for 'The First Slam Dunk' Movie
Sharing a look at the contemporary 3DCG animation.
Following a series of early looks, we now have the first animation teaser for The First Slam Dunk. Announcing the roadshow for the release kicking off December 3, the 20-second clip offers a look at the movie’s 3DCG animation.
Although not too much is seen, the teaser shares just how the film will update the look of the iconic Slam Dunk franchise. Featured in the clip are the five starting members of the Shohoku High School basketball club, Sakuragi Hanamichi, Akagi Takenori, Miyagi Ryota, Rukawa Kaede, and Hisashi Mitsui.
The First Slam Dunk is directed and written by Takehiko Inoue, the original Slam Dunk manga artist, in production with Toei Animation and the CG company Dandelion Animation Studio.
