Following an unexpected announcement for the follow-up to Trigun: Badlands Rumble, Studio Orange recently held a panel for TRIGUN STAMPEDE. Gathering a massive crowd at Anime Expo this year, The crew behind the series, which included Yasuhiro Nightow (creator), Kouji Tajima (character concept and concept design artist), Kiyotaka Waki (producer), and Katsuhiro Takei (producer), went through a pre-prepared Q&A.
The talk built up the excitement behind TRIGUN STAMPEDE, highlighting how the series will not simply be a continuation. Adding how it will build out the character of Vash the Stampede before sharing concept art and ultimately sharing a sneak peek.
Met with immense applause, the first trailer for TRIGUN STAMPEDE revealed what fans can expect from the series. Most notably the use of 3D CG and the dramatic tone, straying away from the comedic nature of the ’90s original, setting an exploration of Vash’s pacifist ideology.
