JJJJound and Padmore & Barnes Reunite for P404 Original Boots
From the creators of the first Wallabees.
Following their debut collaboration featuring a black leather take on the P204 silhouette in 2021, Justin R. Saunders‘ design studio, JJJJound, taps heritage shoe manufacturer Padmore & Barnes once again for a new interpretation of the iconic P404 Original Boot. Founded in 1934, Padmore & Barnes introduced the original crepe-soled Wallabees under the ownership of Clarks between 1964 and 1987.
For its collaboration with JJJJound, the P404 Original Boots maintain its signature form featuring a full Moccasin construction in tan-colored Vegetable Nevada leather. The Made in Portugal pairs feature a fully-lined interior and mismatched co-branded leather sock liners can be teased from above. A JJJJound tab is sewn on the side and a leather loop pull tab is fixed on the heel. Rounding out the design are square-cut leather laces and sustainable No.1 plantation crepe rubber soles.
Look for the JJJJound x Padmore & Barnes P404 Original boots to release on the JJJound website on July 8.
