Sean Wotherspoon Shares a First Look at His adidas Gazelle Collaboration
Colorful floral patterns adorn its corduroy uppers.
After activating at Coachella alongside adidas to execute giveaways of vintage jackets, Sean Wotherspoon has been locked in on getting his next footwear collaborations ready. The designer and vintage curator recently teased his upcoming Orketro makeup, but now it appears that he’s expanding upon his catalog with a colorful adidas Gazelle collaboration.
Wotherspoon took to Instagram to show off all but two images of the sneakers, but we can already see plenty of its striking details. A creamy corduroy seems to be the main material on the shoes as it makes up the side panels and toe boxes, but it arrives ornamented with multi-colored floral artwork. Sitting adjacent to these elements are navy suede hits which drop off on the side stripes and overlays that border the throat. Laces are done up in a clean white and come complemented by maroon adidas tongue banners. The insoles appear to be made of cork-like material and come stamped with Wotherspoon’s signature peace sign emblem. Rounding everything off is the semi-translucent gum treading.
No release info has been announced yet, but it’s likely that these will see an official release in the coming months.
Elsewhere in sneakers, Beyoncé’s new adidas x IVY PARK collection has been unveiled.
