Much like its extra popular Air Jordan 1 High sibling, the Air Jordan 1 Low has impressed the sneaker community on many occasions this year thanks to its barrage of new colorways that have been released and revealed. And in the coming months, the latter is going to broaden its output with a playful new entry — an Air Jordan 1 Low makeup with pink velvet uppers.

Jordan Brand tosses out the traditional leather materials that you’d usually find on the base layer of this model and opts to go with an aesthetic and feel that’s far more luxe. Save for the nylon tongues, the majority of the top half is treated with a dusty pink velvet hue that — for OG hip hop heads — may evoke memories of Cam’ron‘s iconic pink fur outfits. The Swooshes are embroidered slightly differently here as well as a seam runs through the middle for a slightly refreshing look. Crispy white midsoles and matching pink outsoles down under are what conclude its overall design.

No official release info has been announced just yet, but it’s likely that Nike and other retailers will be dropping these in the coming weeks.
